Safety Advisers

Brenda Smith is a chemical engineer and Managing Director of Safety Advisors, a firm providing occupational health and safety consultancy. Brenda's twenty years experience, mainly in chemical plant design, construction and operation has taken her to Europe, Australia, South America and South East Asia. She has focused on specialised management techniques to reduce the frequency and severity of work accidents, whether it be during construction, manufacturing, research or administration. Her experience includes designing safety programmes, safety auditing and writing safety and training material. She has also been involved in the drafting of legislation and providing guidance on regulation and codes of practice.
