Colin Jesse has a wide range of local experience in civil, structural and foundation work, gained mostly as a contractor in Hong Kong since 1979. His career at both project and senior management levels of contracting companies has given him a strong insight into the most cost-effective construction methods applicable to Hong Kong conditions. He has particular knowledge of the latest foundation techniques and developments and now acts as a consultant primarily in the fields of Constructability (feeding into design strategies), Value Engineering, Construction Programming and Partnering alliances both designers and contractors.

Colin's career has required an understanding of the conditions under which the larger Hong Kong projects are tendered and performed by consortia or joint ventures specifically established for individual contracts.
