Timothy Peirson-Smith has resided in Hong Kong permanently since 1990, working as a director in environmental consultancy leading projects for the new airport and many of Hong Kong's major infrastructure and utility projects until 2001. Timothy moved into a director of public affairs' role in 2001, and founded Executive Counsel Limited in early 2003.
Timothy has been member of the corporate community providing time and effort to numerous roles and responsibilities that benefit Hong Kong. Timothy was the founding Chair of the Environment Committee of the British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong in 2005-2007. Timothy is the present Chair of the Business Policy Unit and an active member of The Chamberˇ¦s Construction Industry Group. Timothy is also an elected member of the General Committee of the British Chamber and an active member of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce.
Timothy also supports The Christina Noble Childrenˇ¦s Foundation brand building and fund raising through pro bono marketing consultancy support, as well as the Lighthouse Club, a non-political organisation that raises money, through social activities, to assist less fortunate persons who are associated with the construction industry. Timothy has acted in a visiting and guest lecturer capacity for the English and Communications Department of the City University in Hong Kong in public affairs and government relations, since 2002, and speaks internationally on these subjects and on public consultation.
